Kristin Jamieson, PT & Urban Holistic Co-Founder About her PT Style: "I believe that people are empowered through knowledge. Whether it is simply that they finally understand why their shoulder hurts every time it gets just above 90 degrees, or the role and importance of something called fascial tissue. When a person truly understands why it is that something is inflamed, how it got to be that way, and ways that will help it get better, they can be more in control of their healing. My mission is to first help people get out of pain through the use of functional manual therapy. I use a hands on approach combining soft tissue mobilization, myofascial release, deep tissue massage, trigger point and active release, and muscle energy techniques to first release and realign the body. Once we have freed up mechanical restrictions we begin the process of strengthening and stabilizing, retraining unhealthy movement patterns and habits, and coming to a place of whole system-wide healing. I have a vision of a world where everyone has a solid understanding of how their body works and what it needs to feel good and function optimally. Where every person has the tools to help themselves feel better in their body." Kristin is a Physical Therapist and Founder of WIT (Wellness Integration Tools: a San Francisco based wellness and education consulting company), and co-owner of Urban Holistic LLC. After obtaining her Bachelors from the University of Colorado, Boulder Kristin relocated to the Bay Area. It was a love of science that brought her to San Francisco where she worked as a researcher at the Ernest Gallo Clinic and Research Center, UCSF Department of Neurology intent on getting a PhD in Neuroscience. After several years in the lab it became clear that her calling was to work with people. She followed up her undergraduate degree with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado Denver Health Sciences. She returned to the Bay Area, this time with her husband and son, and has been practicing Manual Physical Therapy and teaching Pilates since 2003. She founded the company WIT (Wellness Integration Tools) in 2016 with the goal of being able to reach more than one person at a time. Over the years she has developed a method that combines many different areas of study to provide what she believes to be an easily attainable path to wellness. Her mission is to educate people about their bodies and the fascial network, provide tools to unlock awareness and promote healing, and to create a culture of prevention.

Isabel G. Front Office Manager I am a true Bay Area chic ! Born and raised in Oakland California until the age of 13 when I moved with my family to Richmond to be closer to my Grandparents. I have worked in the Physical Therapy world for close to 18 years, and have know and worked with both Gina Giammanco (PT) and Kristin Jamieson (PT) for almost that same amount of time. So needless to say I feel right at home with both Gina & Kristin, whom I respect personally and professionally. Suelly Li, Front Office Suelly knew she wanted to live in San Francisco eventually, and she did. Not knowing where life would take her, she stumbled upon an opportunity to work at Red Hawk Physical Therapy where she was met with amazing people doing transformative work and impacting lives. Inspired by the art of healing, she enrolled into yoga teacher trainings at Yoga Tree (200-hr Basic Yoga Teacher Training, 100-hr Yoga Therapeutics and 50-hr Advanced Yoga Therapeutics), and is now taking an 800-hr Yoga Therapy training to become a certified IAYT yoga therapist. She studies under Harvey Deutch, PT and assists him in his trainings. Through her time at the PT clinic and in the yoga room, she has developed a synthesis of yoga and physical therapy mindset to assist individuals in finding comfort in their own bodies. She focuses on functional strength, addressing the modern issues of chair and cellphone culture with yoga. Through simple breath and focus techniques, she believes one can achieve surprising benefits. She enjoys being in nature if possible, reading and most of all, doing nothing.

Emily Canney, Bodyworker Emily takes an intuitive, intentional and therapeutic approach to bodywork, integrating techniques rooted in Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point, and orthopedic massage. She holds a keen awareness of the movement, flow, and restriction throughout the myofascial and connective tissue network and weaves in releases aimed to create more space and mobility throughout the body as a whole. With over 20 years of experience, many of which were spent working in Physical therapy clinics alongside PTs, she believes her sessions function as an extension of physical therapy and the therapeutic approach. Each session with Emily is unique and based entirely on the needs of the individual on that given day.

Claudia Comerci, Healing Alchemy for Mind Body and Spirit As radiant beings, we all have a unique purpose to fulfill. To that end, I blend body-centered modalities and vibrational therapies to help you access the most authentic expression of yourself possible. I have named the system I utilize “Astro-Soma” in reference to the divine embodiment that I hope to help you access with my work. This approach includes an integrative blend of intuitive bodywork, Visionary Craniosacral Therapy as taught by The Milne Institute , flower essence therapy and soul guidance for the purposes of healing and transformation. My work is further informed and enhanced by my study in shamanism, astrology, dream work, archetypes, divination and earth-healing practices. I have been in private practice since 2004. I began my formal study of bodywork in 2001 and graduated from the San Francisco School of Massage and Bodywork with certification in Advanced Deep Tissue Massage and Bodywork and Zen Shiatsu. Since then I have attended myriad continuing education courses in body-centered therapies as well as energy healing modalities. As a life-learner, my tool box is comprehensive and continuously growing so that I can best serve my client’s needs. I have been in love with flowers and nature since childhood. Flower essences have helped me tremendously in my own healing. I consider them to be soul medicine. Hence, becoming a flower essence practitioner felt like a natural fit. The language of flowers feels like it was in my cellular memory! Flower essences can assist in addressing the deeper levels of an unbalanced system and provide a window into root causes of discomfort. Flower essences are agents of consciousness as they are incredible tools for fine tuning the process of self awareness. A portal into new worlds of perception, they can facilitate making shifts. When something is already bubbling inside, they are a gentle ally to help bring it forth and assist in the creation of a new blueprint for your life. I can help you find your road map and am honored to support you and hold space for you in your healing journey toward greater wellness, balance, harmony and vibrancy on all levels.I look forward to embarking on a journey with you! Eréne Lejeune Eréne has traveled and studied traditional medicines in Asia and the US since 1998.  Her interest in traditional medicines began in Portland, Oregon where she apprenticed Eduardo Chavarria, bio-energetic massage therapist, psychotherapist and mayan shaman.  Eduardo taught Eréne the unique importance of visceral manipulation and how to access and read holding patterns in the body through the abdomen.  In 2000, she began to study with Chi Nei Tsang practitioner, author and educator, Gilles Marin in Berkeley, California. She received her advanced practitioner and educator credentials from the Chi Nei Tsang Institute in 2003 under his tutelage.  In 2008, Eréne received her Master Herbalist Diploma from the American College of Healthcare Sciences in Portland, Oregon where she also attended Portland State University.  Eréne was fortunate to study with Liu Ming, founder of Da Yuan Circle from 2005 until his death in 2015 and currently sits on the Board of DYC.  Her studies with Ming included chinese medicine, the mantic arts(polestar astrology, feng shui, calendar cycles(jie qi), and the zhou yi(I Ching)), Nei Gong, nutrition from a chinese medicine perspective, and the daily study of the Tao Te Ching, tea ceremony, meditation, Feng Shui and much more. In 2013, Eréne completed Liu Ming's Polestar Natal Astrology course and offers this service as a compliment to her classical eastern medicine approach. Eréne began her study of Traditional Tibetan Medicine(TTM) in 2008 with Dr. Nida Chenagstang, director of the International Academy of Traditional Tibetan Medicine(IATTM) and was fortunate enough to accompany him to his home in Amdo, Tibet in the summer of 2010.  After this unique internship emphasizing clinical studies in the mountains of Eastern Tibet and at Qinghai Hospital, she accepted the position of Executive Director of The Sorig Institute, a school of Traditional Tibetan Medicine based in the Bay Area.  Eréne passed the institute off to capable hands in 2012 and still occasionally teaches there. In 2014, Eréne was among a small group of students and the first group in the United States to complete the Four Tantras and to receive the transmission from Dr. Nida. Having been an athlete and dancer her whole life, Eréne began using the  GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS®  exercise methods developed by Juliu Horvath and is certified to teach both.  Her holistic approach to health and well-being is reflective of all of these practices and continues to grow.  Although her primary modality is abdominal massage, she includes all of the traditional influences in her work. She is very excited to offer her approach to well-being at Urban Holistic in 2019!
